Claude, an auctioneer in his 50s, forms with Marie a couple united for fifteen years and still in love. However, in the intimacy, and in spite of a desire always alive, Claude has problems of erection. While Marie agrees with a smile of these failures, Claude becomes angry and decides to consult a specialist. There followed various medical examinations which Marie mocks gently. To reassure himself, he decides to seduce other women. While on a business trip to Geneva, he gets the Viagra pill, but his attempt at seduction fails.
