实在无法因为是美国亚裔拍的而给高分，故事太保守，摄影太原始，女猪脚丑的让人难忘

really liked it despite its silly plot. as a new mother, i could almost see how my imaginary adult kids looking back on my life, how the mother's impact on them. it's simple yet, very touching!

Did you just racially profiled me? Being confused is already judging. And, how come a liberal mom gave birth to such conservative kids?

跟其他设定相似的家庭Drama相比，有趣之处是故事只负责提供框架，重要的是其中折射出的不算新奇但很有代表性的Asian-Americaness。主题仍是超越民族界限的亲情友情爱情老一套，笑料则大多出自不同文化和性格之间不可融合的方面（Drug，Swingers和东方式哀伤），原本不够自然的表演也因此显得很有味道。
