Plot Summary:The characters from previous .hack//G.U. Games and .hack//Roots receive an email from Ovan. He is requesting them to go to Hidden Forbidden Festival where is set up a mysterious summer festival. There they find an AIDA Chim Chim who wishes to peacefully co-exist with the other players of The World. It then transforms into the word "Returner", so they assume it to mean that Ovan will return to The World.
庙会游戏版，自打有了roots，这个系列就越来越歪了，完全抛弃了前作的核心奥拉，搞了个不知所谓的AIDA出来。本来是可以打造成类似黑客帝国深挖游戏的自主意识的，不知道为什么弄个AIDA一下子把水准拉低好几个档次。
满是中二狂气的网游题材动画
画面比某3D的好多了。

番外又是节日庆典啊
纯粹当做番外篇来看吧，在hack系列中，要了解“The World”第二代游戏世界的话，建议观看顺序为Roots到TRILOGY再到Returner。
OVAN发动再诞后的故事，看起来主要是替良性AIDA平反。
除了志乃出场自以为是以外，我对于藤太和三郎十分满意=W=
.hack系列アニメTV最佳果然还是SIGN，OVA最雷是GIFT。
剧情什么都没记上，但Saiga的出镜率之低，那么多年还是难以忘却。。。
25分钟OVA、以前看过的，一群玩家收到Ovan邮件来到无人庆典，在打开宝箱打败怪物后出现一个AIDA（Artificially Intelligent Data Anomaly人工智能数据异常，The World内不可能有的现象与存在的总称。），然后AIDA留下了如片名的讯息。
