Plot Summary:A mysterious and colossal flying cake appears in the sky on the outskirts of Rome: a group of children of inhabitants of the township approaches it and, gluttonous as children are, takes away pieces of chocolate and other fragments. The appearance of the bizarre flying object puts civilian and military authorities on the living and even raises the concern of an avid candy tycoon, who fears UFO competition. After attempting to scare the population with the false news that the cake is poisoned, it is denied on live television by the children, who flee the control of the authorities and reach the cake again, reappeared and landed on the top of Monte Chicco.

很有想法啊！虽然Rodari的原作算是反战故事，但是真想不到这样一部看似随便拍拍的小破电影硬是能把一个纯儿童向故事翻新成充满时代感的政治讽刺cult片！（看得出很多改动都直接来自于66-70这几年间政治现实的剧烈变化）活力四射的B级片黑色幽默值三星，Villaggio再加一星，他老人家没有在哪位左棍大导演手下演过墨索里尼或者贝卢斯科尼实在是意大利政治电影的损失。
